Product Marketing

Job Description

The Product Marketing role is aimed to lead our outbound marketing activities related to Courseplay. This role will be responsible for presenting our products and features to external parties in ways that will strengthen our brand and boost awareness of our product. The goal of this role will be to develop and implement plans to position and promote our products.


  • Study company products and features
  • Understanding problem statements for features and products at Courseplay and writing detailed documentation for various stakeholders
  • Determining operational objectives by evaluating business processes and functions, gathering information, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, evaluating output requirements and formats, and developing and implementing solutions
  • Follow and analyze market trends to position the product
  • Work with various teams (design, product, sales) to implement strategies
  • Communicate about our product to the outside world
  • Create technical materials, guides, feature alerts, marketing alerts and case-studies for clients, prospects and internal stakeholders
  • Develop product marketing strategies (pricing, advertising, product launching)
  • Craft compelling messages and work with our marketing agency to release them across marketing channels (landing pages, ad campaigns)
  • Collate and communicate release documentation with information, screenshots and guides about new features


  • Background in design and copywriting is a plus
  • Experience in market analysis
  • Familiar with product marketing tactics (e.g., integrated marketing campaigns)
  • Working knowledge of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Web Trends)
  • Excellent communication skills and writing capabilities
  • Required Skills: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel
  • A track record of following-through on commitments
  • Understanding of and experience in corporate branding
  • Experience with strategic brainstorming
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills


  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BMS/BMM)
  • Master’s Degree is a bonus
  • At least 3 years’ experience
